the average joe care. Maybe it isnt $4 a gallon, maybe it will be $9 a gallon, I dont know, but I am not average joe and I care when I can remember buying premium for 1.50 and nothing since then has drastically affected the oil industry to warrant charging 3x that amount, not supply, not inflation, not demand. I simply think more people should care too, and take simple actions against it. I said the same thing as you when treehuggers were up in arms over $2.00 gas, now how do I feel when I look back on it and am paying $50 to fill my tank instead of $28. Maybe I should have listened. So what I am saying to you, Spee, is that at what point will you care? And what will you do about it? Are you honestly going to stop driving period? Buy an electric car? Will it be important enought to you at that point to wish you had done something and encouraged others to do something now instead of then? I'm not looking for hand holding seances at exxon headquarters, but popular movements and trends start somewhere, this one may not be very far along and wont yield results of any sort for quite some time, if at all, but it doesnt mean I am going to be a zombie and just be indifferent. I dont care if exxon doesnt care if I put different engine oil in my car and truck, I have the self satisfaction, as miniscule as it may be, that I am not playing ball with them.
